ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Karen, a native of the Pacific Northwest, where I grew up amidst the mountains of Washington and Montana, a place that still grounds me today.

My life's journey has been like a hike through the untamed wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, sometimes obscured by dense forests but revealing breathtaking vistas and a clear path when needed most. Along the way, I've explored diverse terrains, from wildlife conservation and naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University to entrepreneurship and business operations. I've navigated economic challenges, embarked on adventures as a military family, and faced the health struggles of my loved ones and my own. Throughout these experiences, my passion for holistic well-being burned ever brighter.

After confronting my own health issues and becoming my father's caregiver during his end-of-life journey, I felt a need to return to my true passion of serving people through healthcare. In my search for the right path, I discovered health and wellness coaching—a missing piece in our healthcare puzzle that became glaringly evident while navigating the healthcare system as my father's advocate. Trained at the Mayo Clinic, I now guide individuals in unlocking their innate potential for vitality and strength.

Beyond my professional journey, I find inspiration in witnessing personal growth, spending time with loved ones, and immersing myself in nature through hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and skiing. I am honored for the opportunity to support people through a transformative wellness journey to renewed vitality.

Karen completed Health and Wellness Coach training through the Mayo Clinic and has National Board Certification (NBC-HWC) License #A-3813132. She also holds a BS in Zoology from the University of Washington.
